To the Diversity in scienceRicardo Alexino Ferreira interviews Zilda Marcia Grícoli Iokoi, professor at the Department of History at the USP Faculty of Philosophy, Humanities and Human Sciences (FFLCH) and professor at the Graduate Program Humanities, Rights and other Legittimacy.

Zilda is also founder and researcher of the Center for the Study of Intolerance, Diversity and Conflicts at FFLCH-USP (Diversitas), which in March this year received the 9th Heleieth Saffiot Prize, awarded by the Municipality of Sao Paulo, for its actions to combat social and sexual discrimination and to defend the rights of women in the city of Sao Paulo.

She is also the author of the book The Historian’s Writing: Worldviews in Conflictby Editora Unesp.

THE Diversity in science is a scientific dissemination program focused on the sciences of diversity and human rights, broadcast every Monday at 1pm, with re-performances on Tuesdays at 2pm and Saturdays at 2pm, directed and introduced by the journalist and professor of the ECA-USP and member of the Human Rights Commission at the USP, Ricardo Alexino Ferreira, and the audio operation of João Carlos Megale.

THE Diversity in science is registered in the studies of the Department of Communication and Arts / Educommunication, of the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP).
