The Deputy Director of State Pollyanna Dutra was in the city of Areia, this Tuesday (19), at the invitation of the Deputy Director of the Center of Agricultural Sciences (CCA), Campus II of the Federal University of Paraíba, prof. Dr. Ricardo Romão Guerra, to discuss incentives for higher education in Paraíba. In dialogue with Professor Ricardo and the heads of departments, the deputy learned of the lack of funding facing the Campus, together looking for alternatives to ensure the provision of quality education to young people in the state.
“The destination on Tuesday was the city of Areia-PB, where we spoke with the head of the Agricultural Sciences Center and the heads of the higher education incentives department in Paraíba. With a lack of federal government funding, universities have suffered from scrap, lack of staff and supplies to deliver quality education. I was very shocked by the situation that was presented to me here today and together we have already begun to think of alternatives to join forces within the Legislative Assembly and the state government to resolve some bottlenecks encountered today by the ACC “, Pollyanna Dutra explained.
The parliamentarian stressed the importance of education for the future of young people. “Education is the guarantee of a future for our young people and it is the task of politics to promote this dialogue because, together, we find ways and solutions to the problems they have to face! I went to Areia at the invitation of Professor Dr. Ricardo Romão, whom I thank for welcoming him. Together we will advance in dialogues with the various bodies in the certainty that we will find alternatives to guarantee a dignified future for our young people! ”, Added the parliamentarian.
